2009 Salt City Winter Antiques Show January 16, 17 & 18 The warm glow of a vast offering of fine antiques takes the chill out of winter inside the huge Verizon Center of Progress Building on the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, New York. Over 275 selected dealers cover thousands of square feet of floor space. Visit Appraisal Alley! Showgoers looking to find out the value of their own antiques and collectibles will not be disappointed. Expert appraisers will again be onhand in “Appraisal Alley” to evaluate — free of charge — one item per attendee, either by inspecting the item or from a reliable photograph. The "Appraisal Alley" team is comprised of widely respected professional appraisers of fine art, antiquities, collectibles, home furnishings and decorative art. Free Consultations with West Lake Conservators! West Lake Conservators Ltd. of Skaneateles, New York will provide free preservation consultations of historic art and artifacts. Conservators specializing in paintings, painted objects, murals, paper-based and archival documents, ephemera, photographs, textiles and frames will be available to speak with showgoers.
